Job Description & Requirements
A growing subluxation-based chiropractic clinic in Kamloops, BC, is seeking an Associate Chiropractor to join its team. This full-time opportunity offers a base salary of CAD $105,000–$115,000, negotiable based on experience, with potential profit-sharing earnings of up to CAD $200,000 after the first year. Relocation assistance of up to CAD $10,000 is also available and negotiable.
The associate will work Tuesday through Friday, with one Saturday morning per month, averaging 31–40 hours per week. Expected patient volume is 150–200 visits per week, with doctors typically spending 3–5 minutes per patient.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient consultations and examinations
- Taking patient X-rays
- Delivering Reports of Findings and care recommendations
- Providing chiropractic adjustments
- Conducting re-exams and recommending ongoing care
- Delivering therapy/rehab and exercise instruction
- Providing nutritional and supplementation guidance
- Incorporating functional medicine into patient care
- Participating in professional development and seminars
- Supporting patient education workshops, internal referrals, spinal screenings, corporate talks, networking events, and other community outreach initiatives
The practice follows a shared-patient model that encourages collaboration and consistent, patient-centered care. First-year training and mentorship will help the associate become familiar with the clinic’s systems, processes, and approach to patient care.
The clinic also uses a video-based Reports of Findings process to streamline patient education, improve patients’ understanding of care recommendations, and give doctors more time to focus on patient care.
