Job Description & Requirements
A growing subluxation-based chiropractic practice in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking an Associate Chiropractor to join its team. This full-time position offers a base salary of $105,000 and is designed for a chiropractor who wants to become a long-term member of the practice while helping the current location grow and providing the owner with greater time freedom.
The associate will work Monday through Friday, averaging 31–40 hours per week. Expected patient volume is 250+ adjustments per week, with doctors typically spending 1–3 minutes per patient.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient consultations and examinations
- Taking patient X-rays
- Delivering Reports of Findings and recommendations for care
- Presenting financial plans and participating in sales and closing
- Providing chiropractic adjustments
- Conducting re-exams and recommending ongoing care
- Providing therapy and rehabilitation
- Delivering exercise instruction
- Providing nutritional and supplementation guidance
- Participating in morning and afternoon team huddles
- Participating in team meetings and professional development seminars
The practice utilizes Manual Adjustment, Diversified, Activator, and Drops, with CBP upper cervical also performed in the practice.
The practice operates under a shared-patient model, with doctors working together within the same clinic. The technical approach includes adjusting/manipulation, active therapy, passive therapy, nutrition and supplementation, and wellness lifestyle education.
The ideal candidate is a chiropractor who believes in the subluxation model and is interested in contributing as an entrepreneur, business builder, and caregiver. The practice would prefer someone who is comfortable with marketing and promotion, including patient attraction through PT education, workshops, internal referrals, spinal screenings, outside talks, corporate talks, networking, social media, and content creation.
Training is available for the right associate. The practice prefers candidates who are already licensed in Arizona, but will consider chiropractors who are in the process of obtaining an Arizona license or who are already relocating.
A minimum 2-year initial commitment is required, with the ideal relationship being long term.
