Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Duties:
- Patient Conversion: Engage with potential patients, particularly those considering cash payment options, by explaining the value of our services and guiding them through the enrollment process.
- Financial Counseling: Provide clear guidance on payment options, insurance coverage, and financial assistance to ensure transparency in financial transactions.
- Appointment Scheduling: Optimize the provider’s schedule by managing appointments efficiently, reducing gaps, and maximizing patient flow.
- Lead Conversion: Actively follow up with potential patients, respond to inquiries promptly, and schedule appointments to convert leads into loyal patients.
Back Office Duties:
- Procedure Assistance: Support healthcare providers during medical procedures, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for a smooth workflow.
- Patient Preparation: Help patients feel comfortable by explaining procedures, answering questions, and creating a supportive environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Training in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage front-desk and back-office duties.
- A proactive and detail-oriented attitude to ensure office efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a structured environment.
Preferred (but not required) Skills:
- Knowledge of medical terminology or basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with administrative tasks such as scheduling and maintaining records.
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
