Mission:
The Executive Director is the driving force behind our organization, responsible for leading strategic initiatives, advocating for key interests, and ensuring growth and sustainability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:
- Collaborate with the leadership team and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
- Monitor progress towards achieving key performance indicators and adapt strategies as needed.
2. Membership Engagement and Growth:
- Implement targeted strategies to attract and retain members.
- Develop programs and initiatives that provide value to members.
- Ensure member needs are met by providing valuable services and resources.
3. Technology Integration:
- Implement advanced technology solutions to improve organizational efficiency, data management, and member communication.
- Utilize digital marketing strategies and CRM tools to drive membership growth and engagement.
4. Continuing Education:
- Oversee the development and implementation of a continuing education program tailored to member needs and industry standards.
- Plan and organize conventions, seminars, and workshops that provide value to members and foster professional development.
5. Financial Management and Resource Allocation:
- Oversee financial management, including budget creation, fiscal oversight, and financial reporting.
- Identify and implement new revenue streams to enhance financial sustainability.
- Optimize resource allocation to support the organization’s operations and programs.
6. Organizational Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strong leadership to the organization’s staff and teams.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and organizational growth.
- Lead and manage organizational change effectively, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.
7. Board Liaison and Reporting:
- Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on organizational performance, strategic initiatives, and financial matters.
- Offer guidance and support to board members to facilitate effective governance and decision-making.
- Maintain transparent and effective communication with the Board.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a professional association or a related field.
- Proven track record in strategic planning.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in financial management.
- Demonstrated success in membership growth and engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Strong background in technology adoption and implementation.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an advanced degree or certification is preferred.
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A NON-PROFIT IS REQUIRED.
