Mission:

The Executive Director is the driving force behind our organization, responsible for leading strategic initiatives, advocating for key interests, and ensuring growth and sustainability. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns with the organization’s vision, mission, and goals.
  • Monitor progress towards achieving key performance indicators and adapt strategies as needed.

2. Membership Engagement and Growth:

  • Implement targeted strategies to attract and retain members.
  • Develop programs and initiatives that provide value to members.
  • Ensure member needs are met by providing valuable services and resources.

3. Technology Integration:

  • Implement advanced technology solutions to improve organizational efficiency, data management, and member communication.
  • Utilize digital marketing strategies and CRM tools to drive membership growth and engagement.

4. Continuing Education: 

  • Oversee the development and implementation of a continuing education program tailored to member needs and industry standards.
  • Plan and organize conventions, seminars, and workshops that provide value to members and foster professional development.

5. Financial Management and Resource Allocation:

  • Oversee financial management, including budget creation, fiscal oversight, and financial reporting.
  • Identify and implement new revenue streams to enhance financial sustainability.
  • Optimize resource allocation to support the organization’s operations and programs.

6. Organizational Leadership and Team Management:

  • Provide strong leadership to the organization’s staff and teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and organizational growth.
  • Lead and manage organizational change effectively, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

7. Board Liaison and Reporting:

  • Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on organizational performance, strategic initiatives, and financial matters.
  • Offer guidance and support to board members to facilitate effective governance and decision-making.
  • Maintain transparent and effective communication with the Board.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably within a professional association or a related field.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in financial management.
  • Demonstrated success in membership growth and engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Innovative mindset and ability to adapt to changing environments.
  • Strong background in technology adoption and implementation.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an advanced degree or certification is preferred.
  • PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A NON-PROFIT IS REQUIRED.
