Job Description

Responsible for greeting practice members, answering phones and making appointments, accepting payments, ensuring compliance of front desk policies and interacting with the treatment team.

What you will do

Our Practice is offering an opportunity to showcase your customer service and organizational skills as a full-time Front Desk Receptionist. We are looking for a positive person with great people and communication skills and a passion for helping others through natural and holistic healthcare. Excellent relationship building skills are a must to ensure service is provided with a high degree of quality. You will be responsible for creating a warm and hospitable environment in the reception area, making and rescheduling appointments, answering phones and recording payments received.

  • Answer phones

  • Greet patients 

  • collect insurance info

  • verify insurance

  • enter in demographics, payments, co-payments

  • route patients

  • order supplies

  • unpack supplies, price, stage

  • work with online marketing platforms on a daily basis

  • work in electronic medical records with sending and receiving

  • work in electronic medical records with statistics

  • Must have computer experience. Experience in word/xcel and EMR is helpful but not required

What you need

  • Two year degree or more preferred

  • Previous experience in customer service must be demonstrated

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows is preferred

  • Must have experience at the front desk in a busy medical, dental, or attorney office.  

  • Must be able to multitask. 

  • Must be outgoing, assertive and friendly. 

  • Must work well with a team and be flexible with daily duties.

Notes from the Practice

  • It is important that I get someone who understands that the hours are not strict…meaning we are open 9-6 but you start at 8:45 and you might go until 6:15-6:20 as it depends upon when the patients are done. Lunch is at 1, but that might be 12:50 or 1:15 it depends upon the day and the patients
