Job Description

Position Summary:


Our Front Desk team member will assist patients and visitors of our clinic. They will maintain the organization of the clinic environment and ensure that it is welcoming and calm for patients and their families. The Front Desk team member will also provide compassionate service to patients while professionally managing patient communication and answering telephones.


Personality Requirements:

We are looking for a detail oriented, multi-tasker that is comfortable with a computer in a fast-paced environment. Must be a self-starter, but also work well with others.   


List of Responsibilities:

  • Greet every patient as they come in.  

  • Check patients in & out. 

  • Collect from patients any co-pays, services and/or patient balance payments.

  • Post payments appropriately.  

  • Professionally answer phones and direct calls accordingly.

  • Manage appointments accordingly.

  • Check voicemail and respond or give a message to necessary team member.

  • Scan documents.

  • Work smoothly and seamlessly with all departments in the clinic.

  • Maintain accurate patient information

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.

  • Proficient in Google, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet applications.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with superior telephone etiquette.

  • Must be attentive to detail, accurate, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
