Wednesday: 6:05 am – 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Thursday: 9:05 am – 12:30 pm & 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Friday: 6:20 am – 12:30 pm
JOB SUMMARY
This position is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone that excels in developing and maintaining relationships and creating an extraordinary experience for others. The Lead Chiropractic technician is accountable to the onboarding, training, and developing of the Chiropractic Technician team. Chiropractic Technicians serve as an administrative liaison between team departments and also serve as a clinical liaison between the practice members and the doctors. The Lead Chiropractic technician is accountable to the scheduling, processing, and follow-up of New Patient appointments and Progress Examination appointments.
The Lead Chiropractic technician plays a crucial role in leading a team accountable to delivering patient care, results, and retention. Chiropractic Technicians are conversion experts in the new patient process. This role includes consulting patients regarding health history and chiropractic education, taking Chiropractic Postural X-rays, performing neurological assessments with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, data entry, answering phones in a timely manner while using good customer experience skills and judgment in the distribution of messages, scheduling appointments, managing insurance forms, and appointment preparation.RESPONSIBILITIES
CLINICAL:
- Performing New Patient consultation/exam/x-ray
- Performing Progress Consultations/Progress Exam Questionnaires
- Performing Progress examination neurological assessments and x-rays
- Performing Core Consultations for patients
- Setting up Consultation Room for reports/New Patients
- Family member appointment flow
- Patient Education
- Distributing exam and x-ray data to PM’s as requested and approved by the Doctors
- Managing the Examination rooms and X-ray suite
ADMINISTRATIVE:- Weekly/monthly/quarterly KPI Reporting
- Managing exams and NP’s appointment scheduling
- Managing the scheduling of Chiropractic Technicians
- Moving codes, checking for proper transactions/report scheduling/checking care plans for issues
- Making sure patients are scheduled for appropriate exams and stop managed to schedule reports in a timely fashion
- Saving intake paperwork and eval paperwork and notes into Platinum files
- Entering all exam transactions into Platinum
- Reviewing Financial Plans with Practice Members
- Completing diagnosis codes for new patients
- Preparing Platinum files and physical files for reports and consultations
- Preparing report paperwork (financial, scheduling, office policies…)
- Checking exam lists at the end of every shift
- Verifying paperwork and INS verification status
- New patient Concierge (New Patient experience)
- Scheduling of follow-up appointments
- Training, onboarding, and developing the Technician team
